5/15/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved 1.Behavior: QMHP-C entered Ashiyah’s home to conduct a family session. Ashiyah appeared to be in a positive mood evident by her facial expressions and disposition. QMHP-C informed Ashiyah that today’s session would focus on her ability to demonstrate respect and cooperation with others. 2. Behavior: Ashiyah presented cooperative behaviors without needing any redirection from QMHP-C during the session however she was a little upset with her mother when discussing ways to control her aggressive behaviors. 1.Intervention: QMHP-C inquired about Ashiyah's emotional well-being. QMHP-C began the session with Ashiyah by identifying healthier ways for Ashiyah to interact with peers and implementing positive decisions. QMHP-C modeled effective ways to communicate and problem solve before acting out with aggressive and disruptive behaviors. 2. Intervention: QMHP-C discussed and explored with Ashiyah, her feelings and thoughts as it relates to her teasing her peers within the home and community setting as it was communicated with counselor. QMHP-C explained more age-appropriate behaviors such as being respectful, accepting criticism without overreacting, and putting on her listening ears when being spoken to by an adult. QMHP-C engaged Ashiyah in problem solving and conflict resolutions skills and encouraged him to implement these skills by making better judgments. 1. Response: Ashiyah and her mother were receptive to QMHP-C's suggestions. Ashiyah struggles with making healthier decisions for herself. Ashiyah reports that she fails to think before she reacts with negative behaviors whether in the home, school and community settings. 2. Response: Ashiyah shared that she dislikes some of her peers and she is not going to treat them with respect if they don’t treat her with respect.
